Sidekicks Lose 2 In Expansion Draft

Chicago, IL– Sidekicks forward Mark Rowland and defender Jose Alvarado were taken by the new Chicago franchise (Storm) in the MISL expansion draft. Rowland was taken with the fourth of 16 selections, while Alvarado was taken fifth. Rowland, 26, scored 13 goals in 23 games this season. Alvarado, 32, has been with the Sidekicks since 1997.
